Learn the basics of surfing and competition with Jimmy “Fast” Lane. Jimmy is a professional surfer and has been rated among the top 50 in the world! Jimmy is a certified lifeguard and has been teaching these classes for the Parks and Recreation Department for over 25 years! Class will focus on general ocean safety, the basics of currents, tides, and run-outs. All surfers MUST know how to swim. If you do not have a surfboard, Jimmy has rentals available for a nominal fee!
