13 one-week sessions will be offered for the summer of 2009

Session 01: June 1st - 5th
Session 02: June 8th - 12th
Session 03: June 15th - 19th
Session 04: June 22nd - 26th
Session 05: June 29th - July 3rd
Session 06: July 6th - 10th
Session 07: July 13th - 17th
Session 08: July 20th - 24th
Session 09: July 27th - 31st
Session 10: August 3rd - 7th
Session 11: August 10th - 14th
Session 12: August 17th - 21st *Surf Contest 08.21, Open to anyone from any week.
Session 13: August 24th - 28th

Contest entries are $5.00 per surfer. Register at Parks & Recreation Department, or at Monday Beach Registrations.

Beginners & Intermediate welcome at all sessions.
Competition Week - Session 12 (Practice for contest)

Location: North Beach - Corner of Sapphire & Atlantic - Look for blue tent on beach.
Time: 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., Monday through Friday
Cost Per Week: $115. for residents, $120. for non-residents

EXTENDED DAY
For an additional $20. per day or $45. per week, participants may stay for one hour of supervised surfing (11 a.m. - 12 p.m.)

NEW!!! SURFARI SURF SESSIONS!
Limited to 12 participants per week, Weeks 2,4,6,8,10. Possible travel along the beach for most favorable conditions. "Surfari" Surfing Sessions run 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Cost per week is $175. for residents, $180. for non-residents.

SATURDAY SESSIONS
Starting the first Saturday in May (5/3), Jimmy will be offering a Saturday class from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The cost for this class is $50. for residents and $60. for non-residents. Adults and groups are welcome.

Learn the basics of surfing and competition with Jimmy “Fast” Lane. Jimmy is a professional surfer and has been rated among the top 50 in the world! Jimmy is a certified lifeguard and has been teaching these classes for the Parks and Recreation Department for 24 years! Class will focus on general ocean safety, the basics of currents, tides, and run-outs. All surfers MUST know how to swim. If you do not have a surfboard, Jimmy has rentals available for a nominal fee!

A surf contest will be held on 8/21/09. This contest is open to students of the Jimmy Lane Surfing Academy only and is held at the North Beach Community Park on Sapphire Street and Atlantic Ave. Please register at the Parks and Recreation Department for the contest. The fee is $5.00 per entrant.

A weekly class photo is available for an additional $10 and $30 for a video, available upon request. Make arrangements through Jimmy Lane.
