The Jimmy Lane Surfing Academy is New Smyrna Beach's premier surf school, offering private lessons, spring & summer camps and group lessons for all skill levels and ages.
Owner and local mentor Jimmy Lane, former World Tour Pro and Professional Competition Judge, and his team of accomplished instructors, bring their lifetime of invaluable surf experience to you. You can be sure you're in the right place when it comes to working on your surfing goals! All avid surfers, the JLSA team invites you and yours to experience the fun sport of surfing. Catch a ride and catch the stoke!
Established in 1985, and partnered with the City of New Smyrna Beach's Leisure Services as its official summer surf camp for over 30 years, JLSA sets the bar high when it comes to surfing and ocean education.

JLSA Prep Academy
Wed-Fri, 5-6:30 *min of 4
The smallest groms (ages 3-5) can get prepared to join older siblings or friends in the regular camp at the JLSA Prep Academy!
Learn surfing basics in the safety of the Aqua Park pool with Jimmy Lane and JLSA instructors. A beginner safe class for those too young for regular camps!
*Min 4 kids to hold these special sessions.
*We also do private surf lessons for a camper-ready fun and evaluations.
